The walleye population is doing very well. There are a variety of sizes available, with good numbers of fish. The number of fish in the size groups that anglers would be most interested in are all above average right now. The number of walleye 20 inches and larger are still well above average.
Northern pike numbers are a little below average. Most pike are between 25 and 35 inches long, but some larger fish present.
Yellow perch are relatively abundant. However, many of the fish will likely be about 8 inches or so with some bigger fish available. Overall, there should be perch fishing opportunities in 2026, but fishing will likely be slower for large perch.
White bass abundant. Most bass will likely be between about 12 to 15 inches long in 2026, but there should be some smaller and larger ones available too.
